here's a franking machine.
the one at my work place does not look like this la.not so nice.
a franking machine is used to frank letters.
which is to "stamp" the "stamp" for you.
instead of you pasting stamps one by one.
the "stamp" is not the usually 10cents stamp you paste on.
its a "chop" version.
and so. you slide your letter thru the franking machine to "stamp" your letters. :]
you set different amount of money for different letters. depending on the weight.
you will pay the frank machine company money to top up into the machine.
in order to frank.
you don't frank for free you know.
its still stamps that cost money.
volvo had spent 16580++ bucks just on sending mails so far.
it is shown on the machine.
and franking is by far my favourite thing to do at work. :D
