N.O.W, i am in a bad moood. after reading my teacher's comments.

i scored like REALLLLY BAD for this individual assignment.

how could it be la.

i scored fine for others; they are all critical analysis though they are of different modules.

and the comment he gave me was my marks were moderated down cause i failed to meet the referencing requirement of a critical analytical report.

ok.

i shall get over this and do well for final exam which is 50% and in 5 weeks time.

by hook or by crook.

be it swollowing the entire textbook or even the lecturer.

i WILL DO IT.

cause i have got 3000$ at stake.

went for some retail theraphy with meiwei today.
spent some money and managed to see 2 handsome but fully dressed A&F guys.
the queue to get in was insane so we dropped the idea.

it was my graduation from np ytd.

didn't take much photos as i left early.

had a freaky headache due to heat and hunger.

at least i managed to get both me and the car back home in one piece.

wasn't active at all for my poly life.

warning: this is a "venting-my-frustration" kind of post.

alright, here i go.

i have heard the comment of "high maintenance" being slapped on me for several times.

and many gives me the signal that they think i am a pampered little child that can't eat at a hawker, can't do housework, can't cook etc.

as if i can go to places with air-conditioning, only knows how to shop and spend $$, only knows about tv/videos/entertainment news/korean stuff etc.

as if i am a brainless bimbo.

ok, maybe not to that extent.

just a little pampered child.

well,

maybe because i am born with an arrogant face la, especially when i don't smile.

and the fact that i am not exactly loud and hyper.

we went for underwater world, dolphin show, skyride and cable car.

as usual.

our meet ups are for dinner and chit chatting.

we talked about lots of stuff and we started to imagine about stuff.

like, when will angelina get married. <3

well, to be exact, when can we become bridesmaids.

i can totally picture ng xi ting standing behind the gate asking the groom to eat expired food + wasabi and shout some embarrassing chants.

and chee mei mei collecting angbaos.

and myself holding tubes of wasabi and all.

and yes,

the next thing we started to dream about would be to have a little business of our own.

since most of us took/ are taking business and accountancy.

our usual plan was to open a child care centre cause it makes big bucks.

but now, maybe a bakery/cafe would be nice. :D

we can handle everything on our own.

no need to hire any workers.

i can bake.

chee mei mei will do accounts/finance.

ng xi ting can do sales/operations.

angelina can do makerting.

and we can rotate to do delivery.

here's a franking machine.

the one at my work place does not look like this la.

not so nice.

a franking machine is used to frank letters.

which is to "stamp" the "stamp" for you.

instead of you pasting stamps one by one.

franked letters look like this.
you see.

the "stamp" is not the usually 10cents stamp you paste on.

its a "chop" version.

and so. you slide your letter thru the franking machine to "stamp" your letters. :]

you set different amount of money for different letters. depending on the weight.

you will pay the frank machine company money to top up into the machine.

in order to frank.

you don't frank for free you know.

its still stamps that cost money.

volvo had spent 16580++ bucks just on sending mails so far.

it is shown on the machine.

and franking is by far my favourite thing to do at work. :D

HELLO.

this is how i look like at work.

ok to be exact. after work. with my make-up smudged and all.

and yes.

i am no longer woman in black anymore.

but this freaking grey blouse is so easily crumpled that my supervisor ask me to iron and starch them before i wear them.

and so.

i have to starch my blouse every freaking night when i get home from work.

work isn't that bad.

just that i have to wear my power heels at work.

i bought a wedge for work (after asking one of my colleague; and she said its fine).

but my supervisor said no.

gooooodnesss. there goes 60 bucks. i shall wear them out next time.

and so, not wanting to spend any more money on shoes.

i had to wear my power heels instead.

i even had to paint the red part black la. using nail polish. see how thrifty i am.

and so. imagine tip toe-ing for 8 hours a day.

my feet is getting out of shape i think.

and the part of your feet where you tip-toe on hurts like i don't know what.

oh well.

other than that. everything's fine.

my laptop crashed a few days back.

it says hard drive crashed blah blah~

and this windows restore thing kept asking me to get this advanced mode to repair the errors.

i ignored it for 2 days, thinking it looked like some virus.

oh well.

switched it on ytd again and just decided to purchase that advanced mode thing.

it cost 99bucks and once i clicked pay, everything went back to normal.

ok, its official.

bus stops are wonderful chitchat spots especially at night; past midnight kind-of-night.

THURSDAY 31 MARCH

went jiawei's place to play mahjong with suQin and yuan kai.

learned how to play poker as well; with the impressive gadgets yuan kai brought along.

after that, we went yishun starbucks for coffee.

but sat at the bus stop instead.

chat and chat and listen to mr ng's oh-so-profound and gooogled-like speech.

FRIDAY 1 APRIL

went to DEYI for sjab promotion day.

aiyo, mygoodness. kids nowadays ahhhhhhhh~ (shall not elaborate)

after that, went to PATHLIGHT to meet angelina for an art exhibition.

their work are impressive and special.

and my dear friend sees a golf club as a soldier.

anw. i like glenn's work the most. :}

HA, sounds as if i know him.

and we went for a free moive at the hall.

really nice. you guys should watch it. :D

and after that,

met meiwei at bishan to chit chat again.

oh well, its more of listening to her.

to let her rant about her entire horrible semester. think she felt better after that. :}

we continued chitchatting at the bus stop while waiting for my bus.

and oh wow.

there's no more bus service la.

the 2 of them told me so confidently that there is one at 12.30.

and so, we talk talk talk till 1am and i flag cab home and there goes 8 bucks.

i can't really understand why did it cost 8 bucks cause it took 5 minutes for me to get home.

and so i conclude that drive cab earns big bucks.

maybe i should consider being taxi driver next time. :}

i've received my results for the final semester of my poly life.

not that bad i should say.

B+ for everything.

and so.

i don't know what i want and i don't know what i should do.

private uni or work.

is curtin worth my time and money and effort?

or should i just start working with my diploma and just stick with it?

i saw many saying that they've received calls from SMU asking them down for interviews.

i guess i am not in their calling list.

aiyo. depressing eh.

and so.

i'll have to wait till july to know if i am accepted into any uni.

i'll have to wait for 2 more weeks to start work.

i'll have to think and figure out and research on private uni that is worth my investment.

ok, to be exact my dad's investment.

and.

private uni is a sensitive issue to talk about at home.

i shall keep my mouth shut until i've made up my mind.

her birthday party is at HORT PARK.

its a pretty place with trees and grass and more trees and ponds and people.

hi all.

my laptop went on a short vacation and it just came back ytd.

explaining why i am not updating frequently.

and yes.

it's about time i show my face on the blog.

the 2 items i am holding on to is a toy watch and a toy fan.

costing 3 bucks each.

well, temptation of turning capsules is too great for me to resist.

and so, there goes 6 bucks.

SAT 12 march

went for jiawei's dad's wake.

glad to see him fine and smiling.

SUN 13 march

went for ZHOU kitchen dim sum lunch buffet at jurong point.

not so bad for the price.

went for night safari after that since my dad has the corporate card with him.

nothing much to do over there.

but the atmosphere and feeling of watching animals in the dark is not that bad.

relaxing and spooky. :]

TODAY

went for an interview. i see hope in getting the job.

but oh well. will have to travel a bit.

still hoping that the NTU job will give me a call soon.

and yes. made up my mind.

will not go for the 2 interviews tml. too lazy.

i need a job. i can't be sitting at home, staring at the laptop and tv for the whole day.

this is the last day of school for me as it is the day of my final paper.

not a very pleasant paper to end school though.

but oh well. it is over.

went to bugis to jalan jalan for a while before going to HQ for the zone meeting.

had AFA annual retest after that.

OMY, i totally forgot about first aid and CPR la.

glad that i got to recap alittle.

went for drinks after that with xiting, jian lin, choon keong and yong siang.

chit chat+gossip+drinking+eating+laughing. :D

had a great time.

the weekends was drama watching.

satisfied. :]

hello all.
time to update a little.

Friday 25 FEB
had HRMS paper. ended around 430pm.
went straight to tampines after that.
reached far too early. and GPS was out of stock.
roamed around till 6 plus before the rest came.

way to expo was totally funny.
how can we get lost from tampines to expo?
furthermore, we had 2 drivers on each car.

oh well, by the time we reached expo. natas was over.
and so we waited outside for angelina and wilfred.
deciding on where to go is so super troublesome.

oh well, let's see how it goes.

Saturday 26 FEB
its my nephew, ETHAN's first month.
but i didn't go for the celebration cause i am a nice friend.
went for Ynature instead to be a volunteer; since it is angelina's event.
it was something different for me; to interact with the beneficiaries.
they are like kids in a way. very cute. :]

but my buddy is very shy. so we didn't talk much. she seem to be more comfortable with her friend. so i just sat and hear them talk.

oya, i totally wore the wrong pair of shoes.
i think slippers would be a better choice.
the sole of my shoes is totally flat.
and so, the entire walk was like some kind of foot reflexology for me.
i can feel every single pebble, stone and rock that i step on.

oh welllll.

after Ynature, i rushed off to chinese garden via cab.
and there goes my 20 bucks.
met my family and we went to malaysia for the weekend.
stay at a mini boutique hotel near sutera mall.
it was really pretty and clean and cheap.
it was 198rm for a room that fits 5 adults comfortably.

taste exactly the same at half the price. :]
went for massage after that and went to bed.

JETSTAR: $357

CATHAY: $592

Ferry between HongKong and Macau takes about 60 - 75 minutes (depending on sea conditions).

Cost between HK$124 - HK$176. (divide by 5 for SGD)

Ferry service brings you to HK airport directly as well at HK$180.

and i have found this hostel. yes; it is not a hotel.

it is like a dorm.

4-6/8 person in a room.

HK$99 - HK199 per person per night.

It is located at fortress hill.

i am studying. yes, still studying for HRMS.

can't wait for tml to come so i can get over with 1 of my exams.

but once tml is over.

i will have to start another week of SHRM and wait till friday again for the exam.

oh yes.

meeting my long-time-no-see-bestyfriends tml for dinner.

we are going NATAS fair too. to look-look-see-see for cheap airfare.

have not decide on where to go yet.

and yes.

i send in a couple of resumes for a couple of jobs but no responds yet.

why-like-that?

this shall be the hardest application ever.

application for secondary school was easy peazy back then cause i know that i am confirm-guarantee-chop going to deyi cause my brother is there.

to make things even easier, i scored the same as my brother, so i double confirmED that i can get in to deyi.

application for poly/JC was a little harder; but still considered easy.

i knew i didn't want to go JC and thought that i was more suitable for poly.

my o level results were not bad; far better than what i expected.

so i knew i could get into any poly courses i want.

the only trouble was which business course to choose from.

when looking thru the brochures, i didn't even check on the L1R4 for each diploma.

sounds cocky; but it's true.

till now, i don't even know what is the points to get into BS.

to be even cocky-er, i only filled in 2 choices out of the 10.

1. Ngee Ann Poly business studies

2. NYJC

and today, after hearing ms fong mention about the deadlines for application for uni, i decided to apply for NTU first.

OMY, this is the hardest and most troublesome application ever.

reasons being:

1. my GPA is bad. it is at the very end of the requirement range.

2. there are not much choices for me. cause business courses are impossible to get in.

this time, tables have turned. now the schools choose me; not i choose the schools

oh well.

maybe working isn't that bad.

with meiwei and "long-long-long-time-no-see" SUQIN:D

feel great to meet them. my good-old-secondary-classmates-for-4-years.

there were lots and lots of people at ruby's place. mostly her church friends.

surprised to see cheryl and zhang shuo there.

OYA. ended up chatting with ruby's dad for more than an hour. :]

well. ruby is going to Australia; Brisbane to study for 4 years.

she is flying off on the 8th of Feb.

am a SUPER NICE AND FABULOUS daughter today.

woke up at 8Am to drive my mum to her friend's place to collect some stuff.

her friend's place is at craig road; somewhere near maxwell market.

OMGoooooodness.

was soo irritated by the GPS.

it kept asking me to turn left and left and left.

and so i went round and round and round.

paid ERP thrice.

spent 2 hours to make oreo cheesecake; which is to be brought to my grandma's house tml.

kind of failed cause it ended up alittle toooooooo sweet.

just finished rescuing my cheescake by adding dark chocolate powder to the top of the cake.

helped in preparing and cooking dinner for tonight.

washed the car with my brother manually, with a bucket of water and 2 rags.

oh yes.

it is officially rabbit year now.

2 accidents today.

at the cross junction at the back of my house.

i think i am too used to it already.

and my whole family will stand by the window and analyse the situation.

now. i can't really be bothered to even look out the window unless it is really a loud bang or my brother says it is quite serious and it is blocking the whole junction.

do be careful when driving.

don't need to act cool and drive damn fast with one hand la.

nobody can see it anyway. :D

i am in school now, slacking with anhui. waiting for class to start.

meanwhile, i shall blog about a little portion of ytd.

went for DIALOGUE IN THE DARK ytd.

it was really fun!!!!

you will enter as in a group of 7 - 8 and be led around by a guide; someone who can't see.

it is completely dark inside. as if you are locked up in a-bombshelter-kind-of-dark.

you will be given a guiding stick to feel your way around and the guide will give you instructions on what to do.

the entire tour will last about 45 minutes. there are ALOT of things to do and feel and experience inside. [shall not mention it here. it won't be as fun if you know what is going on]

IT WILL NOT BE BORING AT ALL. TRUST ME. :D

oh well. it is open to the public. fees are as follows:

NP students: 10 bucks

Students with a valid student ID: 12 bucks

Adults: 20 bucks

do try it out as it is a real FANTASTIC experience.

more importantly, it helps to cover the operation cost of DiD as well as the salary of the guides. :D
